 Java Data Base Connectivity API (JDBC). JDBC drivers are available from most database vendors, including:
  • Oracle, Sybase, InterBase 4.0, IBM DB2 Version 2, mSQL, Essentia, Informix, MS SQL Server, CA-Ingres, Progress, Unify, Postgress95, SAS, Watcom
