MERL is our people, no more, no less. We succeed based on the intellect,
the energy, the determination, and the team spirit each of our people bring
to MERL. Our buildings, computers and software are useless without them.
After all, it is our people who create the products, prototypes, and ideas
that come from MERL; it is our people who create value for Mitsubishi
Electric; it is our people who make MERL a challenging, exciting, rewarding
and friendly place for to work.
We strive to create a sense of teamwork, cooperation and open
communications in our laboratories and we feel that the high level of
technology we have achieved and our excellent reputation within our
various professional communities is a direct result of this spirit. One of
my greatest joys is hearing from our visitors that they too sense this spirit.
