Raymond Yim joined the Digital Communications group at MERL in 2007. received Bachelor and Master degrees in Electrical Engineering from McGill University, Montreal, Canada in 2001 and 2002, respectively and his PhD from Harvard University in 2006.

Raymond has conducted various successful researches on design and analysis of cross-layered architectures and protocols for wireless communication networks including cellular systems, wireless LANs, and sensor networks.
